The Connect desktop application replaces Suitcase Fusion. Connect adds web-based font activation and includes some web-only features.

Brand Connector
Enables Brands to securely share approved font libraries with Agency partners in Connect, simplifying collaboration while maintaining control, visibility, and confidence in how fonts are accessed and used. Available for both Connect-to-Connect and (coming soon) Monotype Fonts-to-Connect deployments, Brand Connector helps ensure brand fidelity across teams without requiring manual font distribution.
Reintroducing Glyphs View in Monotype Connect for detailed character exploration.
Updated layout to a table-style grid with clearer spacing around each glyph for easier scanning.
Use the size slider to adjust the size of the glyphs for a clearer, context-rich character visualization.
Tooltips on hover now show each glyph’s Unicode value and keyboard shortcut (when available), with clear labels.
The Glyphs tab now displays total glyph count (for example, “Glyphs (150)”) so users can see coverage at a glance.
Preserved the ability to copy individual glyphs directly from the Glyphs View for use in design workflows.
Performance enhancements and bug fixes.
This update introduces two new capabilities in Connect that help teams work more efficiently and with greater control: Font Libraries, Filtering by Account, and the Creative Services Quote Tool.
Note: Font Libraries Filtering by Account is available to customers who work across two or more accounts. Creative Services Quote Tool is available to customers with a Connect Agency subscription.
