Extensis Releases Free Suitcase Fusion Update

PORTLAND, Ore. – November 28, 2006 – Extensis, a division of Celartem Inc., today released a free update for Suitcase Fusion — Extensis’ next-generation, single-user font manager. The update brings improved performance for font activation and searching speeds as well as enhanced font corruption checking.

This update also adds native support for Intel-based Macintosh and PowerPC systems for FontDoctor. Morrison SoftDesign’s FontDoctor is the industry standard tool for locating and eliminating hard-to-find font problems that impact a system’s performance and applications. FontDoctor is free with the purchase of Suitcase Fusion.

“The performance enhancements in this update offer Suitcase Fusion users even faster font activation and provide added stability which our users demand,” said Halstead York, Extensis Product Marketing Manager. “By working directly with customers and font foundries, we have enhanced our font corruption checking engine.  This enables Suitcase Fusion to work with even more fonts than before, while ensuring the bullet-proof font management workflow our customers require.”

Registered owners of Suitcase Fusion are eligible to receive the free upgrade immediately through the Extensis website at http://cde.extensis.com/support/suitcasefusion.
