PORTLAND, Ore. — March 25, 2014 —Extensis® announced today a new professional services offering for customers looking to move Portfolio Server® to the cloud. For companies with limited IT resources, this new service ensures the implementation is seamless and that teams are fully trained on how to optimize their digital asset management workflow in a cloud-based environment.
Over the course of two days, Extensis gets Portfolio Server up and running with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the cloud. Customers still maintain full control of their assets, while gaining the efficiencies associated with cloud computing.
Extensis’ engineering team works with customers to:
- Identify their specific digital asset management needs and goals of the project
- Establish their AWS account
- Configure an EC2 server and firewall
- Fully install and configure Portfolio Server and third-party helper applications for this cloud-based environment
- Train users on how to use, maintain and maximize the system
