Extensis Expands Executive Leadership Team to Prime for Next Decade of Growth

Appoints Renee Schlachter as Vice President of People and Chad Slater as Vice President of R&D

PORTLAND, Ore., July 14, 2021Extensis®, a leading provider of digital asset management solutions, today announced it is expanding its executive leadership team with the appointment of Renee Schlachter to Vice President of People and Chad Slater to Vice President of Research & Development.

Schlachter brings more than 20 years’ experience leading HR programs for Portland and Bay Area companies. In the past year, she has provided the steady HR leadership that has kept Extensis growing and evolving despite the turbulence of the pandemic. Her acute focus on maintaining a culture that prioritizes health and wellness was recognized by the Portland Business Journal, naming Extensis the No. 1 Healthiest Employer in Oregon (companies with 1-99 employees).

Toby Martin, CEO of Extensis, noted: “Renee is crucial in how we run all functions of HR and never loses sight of leading with empathy and our core values. We couldn’t do it without her strategic and sound hand ‘on the wheel’ and her investments of time, energy, and passion are instrumental for the continued growth of Extensis.”

Slater also brings 20+ years’ experience working in engineering roles for technology companies in the Pacific Northwest. Directing all aspects of Extensis’ product teams including engineering, quality assurance, dev-ops and product management, Slater has led the company’s pivotal transition to SaaS.

“Chad’s impact on the organization has been major and sustained. It’s not hyperbole to say we’d not be where we are without his visionary leadership in R&D, and the overall organization. Never one to shy away from challenges, we are all fortunate to have him ‘on the wall’ and we always come thru stronger with progress toward our long-term objectives thanks to his leadership.”

Martin concluded: “As we enter our third decade in business, Renee and Chad are proven leaders who will help propel us into our next stages of growth. I am honored to have them on our executive leadership team.”
