Extensis Announces Jaguar Optimized Update for Suitcase 10
|Portland, Ore., – August 29, 2002 – Extensis today announced an update to Suitcase that optimizes it for use with Apple’s new Macintosh OS 10.2, also known as Jaguar. Suitcase is the industry standard font manager for Mac OS 9 and 10, enabling users to effortlessly organize, preview and activate fonts. The update is free to all registered users of Suitcase 10 and is available for download from http://cde.extensis.com/suitcase/18h.html.
“Apple has launched a tremendous effort to put Jaguar in users’ hands,” said Michael Wong, Suitcase product manager for Extensis. “Because font management is crucial in the Mac OS X environment, we felt it was important to provide a Jaguar optimized version of Suitcase to our customers as soon as possible.”
While the existing version of Suitcase works with Mac OS 10.2, anyone intending to move to Mac OS 10.2 should download the updater. Questions regarding this update or Suitcase in general can be directed to Extensis free technical support at http://cde.extensis.com/support/.
