Extensis 2017 Company Picnic

Extensis Annual Summer Social & End of Year Meeting at McMenamins Edgefield.

Nothing says “So long, Summer” like an afternoon spent on the greens with craft beer and good company, yet nothing says “Hello, Fall” like having a big screen TV to curl up to while watching your favorite football team score a touchdown or catching the premiere of a new Fall TV series! Extensis tried to take care of both scenarios at the Annual Summer Social and Quarterly Meeting.

Extensis Summer Company Meeting

Extensis held its quarterly company meeting at McMenamins Edgefield for the first time. During the meeting, Chief Financial Officer, Nahhe Nomie decided to have fun with the team by commanding the mic and playing game show host. In Price is Right fashion, he gave away a TON of raffle prizes including Amazon gift cards, wireless headphones, good old cash, and a big screen TV. The lucky grand prize, TV winner was Courtney Parkin, our Marketing Coordinator!

After the game show, the team headed towards the greens and enjoyed time with co-workers trying to make Par (or at least trying to avoid breaking any neighboring windows and hitting any co-workers with golf balls) while the beer cart made rounds serving craft beers and spirits.

It’s not golf unless you’re keeping score, right?!
The golf teams were mixed with experts and first timers so newbies had a chance to learn from the pros. Teams kept score and winning AND losing teams were awarded prizes.

We had a 3-way tie for the Winning Team so a “golf ball roll” competition (who could get the ball closest to the pin) was used for the tiebreaker.

The winning team that broke the tie included:

  • Terry Ryan, Federal Sales Manager
  • Chris Gardner, Service Agreement Representative
  • Tory Zundel, Software Architect
  • Jeff Hutchinson, Regional Business Manager

The losing team with the worst score included:

    • Scott Silver, Priority Support
    • Cris Echeguren, Priority Support Technician
    • Rich Estrin, Engineering Manager
    • Loren Barr, Lead Software Engineer

…but they still got prizes.

Thanks to everyone who participated and a special thank you to Carli Edvalson, Gabi Yasenchak, Renee Schlachter, Mike Griffith, and Daryl Vogel for orchestrating a stellar event!
