Thank you for downloading this Suitcase Fusion Plug-in for Adobe InDesign CS3. This plug-in allows Adobe InDesign to automatically activate fonts directly from Suitcase Fusion.

The plug-in identifies all fonts in a document and embeds Font Sense information into your InDesign documents. Font Sense information allows Suitcase Fusion to accurately match fonts required by a document with those managed by Suitcase Fusion.

Installation
  • Suitcase Fusion v12.1.3 or higher
  • Adobe InDesign CS3 v5.0 or higher
    • Mac OS X v10.4.8 or higher
Installing the Plug-in

Please use the following instructions to install the Adobe InDesign CS3 plug-in. See the Suitcase Fusion User Guide for more information about auto-activating fonts using this plug-in.

To install the Suitcase Fusion Plug-in for InDesign CS3:
  1. Close any running copies of Adobe InDesign.
  2. Locate the copy of InDesign CS3 from which you will be auto-activating fonts.
  3. Locate the Plug-ins folder.
    The default location for Adobe InDesign CS3 is Applications/Adobe InDesign CS3/Plug-ins/
  4. Drag the Suitcase Fusion plug-in file, SCFusionIDCS3.InDesignPlugin, into the Plug-ins folder.
  5. If it is not already running, launch Suitcase Fusion.
  6. Launch Adobe InDesign CS3.

Note: Suitcase Fusion must be running when auto-activating fonts.
